Food and Necessities
Bread of Life Foursquare Gospel Church is a community outreach church. Besides the core ministries of the church on Wednesday and Sunday mornings, the church regularly gives away food, clothes, hygiene and cleaning supplies, and other items at each service, and helps people in crisis. We believe in ministering to the physical as well as spiritual needs of people who come to our door. Food is given out at all services. The community may also receive food without attending a service during the hours of 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm on Wednesdays.
Bread of Life gives food out to a population of over 2500 people per month, and serves lunch after our Wednesday morning services to perhaps 250-300 people per month. Our downtown outreach serves nearly 500 people per month. We also give food to local halfway houses.
Bread of Life’s resource center is intended to target our population and the local community for help in finding jobs, housing, and needed social services, training in computer literacy and Spanish to English.
